EL REGRESO DE VARGAS
El chofer de nuestro bus decidió tomar una ruta alterna y pasó esta semana por las oficinas del capitolio en Bogotá para enterarse de varias movidas que parecen estar sucediendo en la capital del país. La primera de ellas tiene que ver con el posible regreso de Germán Vargas Lleras como cabeza de lista al senado de su partido Cambio Radical. Como todos sabemos, el partido ha sufrido por cuenta de la salida de varios de sus alfiles, y la división que hay entre Vargas y sus otrora aliados los Char. Con esta movida Vargas aspira a consolidar de nuevo su poder dentro del partido y a darle un impulso a la lista que por cierto la tiene bien difícil para senadores como nuestro coterráneo Edgar Diaz.
SIGUE BUSCANDO
Y hablando del senador Edgar Diaz de quien se dice aún no ha decidido si su nombre va definitivamente para el Senado o no, el chofer de nuestro bus se enteró de que sigue buscándole aval a la Dra. Ludy Páez para una posible candidatura a la cámara, pero que hasta ahora no ha sido fácil. Ya se empieza a acabar el tiempo para definir estas candidaturas.
ACERO BICENTENARIO
El chofer de nuestro bus estuvo muy atento a cubrir la ruta de todos los eventos que se dieron en la ciudad esta semana por cuenta del bicentenario de la constitución de Cúcuta. La cuota regional en el gobierno, el Viceministro José Luis Acero quien estuvo a cargo de la organización del mismo, estuvo muy activo y al final le salió muy bien el evento. Lo que si no le salió tan bien fue lo concerniente a la culminación de las obras del parque que no estuvieron listas para la ceremonia. Esto fue duramente criticado por el representante a l cámara Alejandro Carlos Chacón.
ACERO POLÍTICO
También nos enteramos que por cuenta de su papel al frente del bicentenario Acero terminó teniendo roces tanto con la ministra de cultura como con el Gobernador del Departamento, el Dr. Silvano Serrano. Allegados al Dr. Acero aprovecharon el evento del bicentenario para poner a rodar el nombre de Acero como posible aspirante a la gobernación del departamento a lo cual varios políticos locales respondieron con gracia diciendo que el Dr. Acero conoce mejor Washington que nuestro querido Norte de Santander. En todo caso el nombre quedó sonando y veremos si la intención es real o solo un globo más.
CÁMARA AL ROJO VIVO
La elección del presidente de la cámara ya se encuentra en aun etapa final. La terna conformada por Armando Peña (actual presidente ejecutivo encargado), Eliana Labrador Flórez (abogada) y Víctor Angarita (Cercano al senador Juan Carlos García), ya está definida y empiezan a moverse las influencias al interior de la junta para definir quién será el próximo presidente. Las apuestas se inclinan por el actual presidente ejecutivo, Armando Peña quien parece contar con un par de pesos pesados de la junta. En todo caso o la tiene nada fácil y esperaremos a ver que se decide en las próximas semanas.
LEALTADES
En la ruta que pasa por la Calle 9 y recoge a varios pasajeros que salen de Comfanorte, el chofer de nuestro bus se enteró de varias movidas que dejan muy mal parado al presidente del sindicato más grande de la caja, el tesorero Juan Carlos Álvarez. Las movidas tendrían que ver con deslealtades que ha venido cometiendo con sus compañeros sindicalistas, al autorizar varios despidos sin justa causa, sin importar el fuero sindical ni la trayectoria de estos; así mismo se le ha visto muy activo presionando proveedores y recogiendo poderes para la próxima asamblea de la caja en la cual al parecer juró lealtad al grupo del senador Juan Carlos García. Veremos cuánto duran estas lealtades y alianzas.

Una excelente campaña de concientización para la prevención del cáncer de mama ha venido realizando la liga contra el Cáncer y uno de sus principales científicos en la ciudad, el doctor Juan Carlos Vergel. Iniciativas como esta deben apoyarse desde todos los estamentos de la sociedad. Buena por esa, doctor Vergel. El General no solo apoya esta campaña, sino que invita a los santanderistas a vestirse de rosa
