Luego de que los ánimos ya estaban bastante caldeados, y de un escándalo por cuenta del aumento de sueldo del Presidente Ejecutivo, la junta directiva intentó calmar los ánimos y tender puentes con el nombramiento de alguien aparentemente neutro y que podía dar garantías a todos los miembros. De esta forma llegó Sergio Entrena a la presidencia ejecutiva. Al poco tiempo, algunos miembros de junta tuvieron reparos en ese nombramiento por cuenta de la cercanía de Entrena con el senador Juan Carlos García y terminaron pidiendo su cambio.

Al puesto llegó de forma interina Armando Peña quien intentó seguir calmando las aguas al servir de mediador entre todos los miembros de junta que seguían su guerra campal tras bambalinas. Como el nombramiento de Peña fue provisional, tenía una duración definida y al final de esta no se prorrogó. Allí la entidad cayó en un limbo jurídico por cuenta de la división del poder entre algunas gerencias que ocupaban el cargo de Presidente Ejecutivo de forma transitoria y con los poderes divididos. Esta situación con sus respectivas demandas judiciales terminó en la salida de una de las gerentes antiguas de la cámara, Carolina Hernández lo cual se dio en medio de un escándalo mediático del sindicato al cual pertenecía. Esto probablemente llegó a oídos del gobierno nacional y pudo ser el hecho determinante para la movida que se dio esta semana y que cambió el panorama en un abrir y cerrar de ojos.

Aprovechando la llegada del nuevo gobierno que debilitaba el poder de los Duquistas, el otro grupo liderado por los empresarios Israel Bahar y Jairo Bautista tendió puentes con los sectores políticos afines al gobierno nacional. De esta forma antes de lo previsto, el gobierno decidió cambiar a sus representantes en la junta de la entidad.

Lo curioso del hecho, es que Israel Bahar quien se encontraba dentro de la junta como miembro elegido por los afiliados y quien aparentemente tenía una restricción para volverse a elegir en las próximas elecciones de diciembre por llevar ya tres períodos, renunció a su puesto y logró a la vez que el gobierno nacional lo nombrara como uno de sus miembros delegados de junta. Así mismo eligieron en los demás puestos delegados por el gobierno a Silvia D’Pablo y a Carlos Cristo hermano del ex ministro Juan Fernando Cristo, aliados al grupo de Bahar. Silvia D’Pablo quien ya estaba en la junta directiva como miembro elegido en votación a través de la firma Cosan S.A., también renunció a la representación legal de dicha empresa y en su reemplazo fue nombrado Diego Tristancho, de esta forma el grupo de aliados Bahar se aseguró las mayorías que le fueron esquivas en el gobierno Duque.
NUEVO PRESIDENTE
Ya con la mayoría de la junta a su favor, el grupo de Israel Bahar y Jairo Bautista eligió como nuevo Presidente Ejecutivo al abogado Sergio Hermando Castillo Galvis quien se había desempeñado como asesor en la entidad. De esta forma comienza un nuevo período en la entidad, a la espera de las elecciones que entregarán 6 cupos de los nueve de la junta y que tendrán lugar en el mes de diciembre.

Desde el interior de la Alcaldía, son varios los pasajeros que le contaron al chofer de nuestro bus del sonajero de candidatos al interior del gabinete municipal. Sergio Maldonado y Juan Diego Peña quienes se han mostrado bastante activos con los temas de sus respectivas secretarias de Desarrollo Social y Banco del Progreso respectivamente, están en el abanico de precandidatos a la Alcaldía, y por supuesto cualquiera contaría con la bendición del Alcalde Jairo Yáñez.
