Una actualización del Sistema SICOM generó retrasos en el proceso de carga de la información por parte de mayoristas y distribuidores hacia las estaciones de combustible
Debido a una nueva actualización en el Sistema de Información de Combustibles (Sicom), como encargado de administrar estos hidrocarburos a nivel nacional a través del Ministerio de Minas y Energía, este domingo, entre las 12:00 a.m. y las 4:00 a.m., se presentó un retraso en el proceso de carga de la información por parte de mayoristas y distribuidores hacia las estaciones de combustible.
Jhon Olivares, secretario de Gestión Minero y Energética Sostenible del departamento, detalló que ese proceso se prolongó hasta las 12 del mediodía del mismo domingo. Sin embargo, entre la tarde de ayer y el transcurso de este lunes, se han despachado cerca de 1.5 millones de galones de combustible para las diferentes estaciones del departamento.
“Hoy podemos contar con combustible fronterizo en Ocaña, Convención, entre otros, y le pido a las personas que traten de no realizar el tanqueo todos a la misma hora porque eso es lo que genera la zozobra, la desinformación y las filas enormes. Además, las aglomeraciones son focos de contagio y este es un proceso que está garantizado por las próximas tres semanas”, indicó el funcionario.
Respecto a la escasez que se presenta mes a mes, Olivares descartó que sea por el contrabando de combustible hacia el vecino país.
“Estamos trabajando de la mano junto a la Policía Fiscal y Aduanera, y el combustible que se saca del departamento no supera el 2% del total subsidiado para la región. La escasez se presenta porque estamos consumiendo más combustible del asignado y por eso la necesidad de que el gobierno nacional, a través del Ministerio de Minas y Energía, nos amplíe el cupo, que es de 11.4 millones de galones, porque es insuficiente para cubrir la demanda que hay en el departamento”, aseguró.
Respecto a la posibilidad de una reapertura formal de la frontera, manifestó que se están evaluando algunos mecanismos que permitan proteger el combustible subsidiado, ‘que está destinado para los habitantes del departamento y empresas de la región’. Asimismo, aseguró que no está reglamentado el hecho de que algunas estaciones de servicio no suministren el hidrocarburo después de las 10 de la noche, por lo cual agregó que se estará revisando la situación.
