La elección de Gustavo Petro, como presidente de la república de Colombia, sin lugar a dudas ha sido la más polémica en lo corrido de nuestra historia republicana, su concepción ideológica, parece pasarle cuentas delante de aquellos que ven el fantasma del comunismo expropiador y abusivo, que ha caracterizado este sistema alrededor del mundo, pero contrario a ello el actual gobierno de izquierda que preside Gustavo Petro, ha puesto en máxima alerta a los distintos poderes públicos que integran la nación, hasta el punto que entidades como la fiscalía general de la nación, que hace parte a la rama judicial, actúa de manera insubordinada, frente algunas decisiones de palacio.
En ese orden ideas, la administración de Gustavo Petro, ha venido demostrando, el respeto por las instituciones que, a pesar del hundimiento de algunas reformas, el ejecutivo continuo en un llamado conciliador, eso nos demuestra, que por imperfecto que sea nuestro sistema democrático, vamos en la dirección correcta en el fortalecimiento institucional, que empieza por el respeto de la constitución y la ley.
Referente a las múltiples críticas que ha recibido al actual gobierno, unas más acertadas que otras aun demuestra el nivel de inmadurez política en el que nos encontramos, que si el presidente en sus 11 meses de gobierno ha viajado en 21 ocasiones al exterior, con un promedio de dos viajes por mes y que supera en nueve viajes a sus antecesores, Santos y Duque, podría considerarse un débil argumento en relación a las agendas que debe darle cumplimiento el señor mandatario, que sí; no es del todo mal, que en medio de la austeridad se le recuerde al mandatario que todas esas giras afectan el fisco nacional, como a la vez seamos responsable en evaluar que tan positivo haya sido el balance de los compromisos que motivaron a los viajes presidenciales.
Comparar la eficiencia de un gobierno con sus antecesores, no es la mejor forma de medir los avances del país, debido a la dinámica de los tiempos no es igual, el mundo avanza y a la vez hay retrocesos, un claro ejemplo ha sido la guerra entre rusia y ucrania, que ha incrementado el consumo de los combustibles fósiles, cuando la humanidad trata de buscar alternativas energéticas más amigables con el ambiente y eso determina la dirección hacia donde debemos avanzar, por lo que consideraría que aun seguimos aferrados a la práctica de gobernar con retrovisores.
Uno de los mayores cuestionamiento que ha recibido la administración Petro, es acerca del tratamiento de su proyecto de la paz total, donde se han levantado ordenes de capturas sobre los más peligrosos delincuentes del país, la polémica que ha generado el nombramiento como gestores de paz de los jóvenes que participaron en las protestas del 2021 y que son procesados por varios delitos, pero todas ellas parecerán pequeñas, frente a la anunciada noticia por parte del propio presidente Petro, de nombrar como gestor de paz, a la máxima figura representativa del paramilitarismo en nuestro país, Salvatore Mancuso, quien precisamente, su nombramiento coincide con la fecha de hace 22 años, un 23 de julio del 2001, se firmó un pacto secreto en la finca del paramilitar Salomón Feris Chadid, en Santa fe de Ralito, popularmente conocido como el pacto de Ralito.
Estos son capsulas para la memoria; no es la forma de mirar al estilo retrovisor, la dinámica de la política en Colombia, recordemos que en el gobierno del entonces presidente Álvaro Uribe, comandantes guerrilleros de las antiguas farc como fueron, Olivo Saldaña, Karina la tuerta, el mismo Rodrigo Granda, algunos estando en prisión fueron nombrados gestores de paz, todo por conseguir el aplauso del pueblo que odia a la violencia, pero tristemente somos asaltados en nuestra buena fé.
