El trirreinato que actualmente maneja los hilos del Concejo de Cúcuta, está siendo seriamente amenazado por la ‘revolución’ interna que le armaron varios concejales que en el pasado fueron fieles a sus órdenes y hoy quieren derrocarle el poder.
Oliverio Castellanos (actual presidente de la corporación), Nelson Ovalles y Leonardo Jácome, están viendo seriamente amenazadas sus intenciones de perpetuarse en el poder y controlar a las mayorías, por un grupo de concejales ‘rebeldes’ que se cansó de seguirles la cuerda a quienes se creen con la autoridad de decidirlo todo.
Una muestra irrefutable de esto es la sorpresiva citación que se hizo para que en la sesión de mañana sábado 23 de abril se elija a la mesa directiva del 2023. Sí, la del año entrante, ¡estando apenas en abril!
Esta elección se suele llevar a cabo a fin de año, pero es tal la división al interior del Concejo, que la mayoría que en estos momentos existe en el cabildo no quiere perder la oportunidad de hacerse a la presidencia de la corporación, antes de que los actuales ‘mandamases’ logren voltear a alguno de los que en este momento hace parte del grupo de los ‘rebeldes’.
De hecho, el trirreinato estaría haciendo todo lo posible porque la votación de mañana se haga por bancada, para sacarle dos concejales a la coalición mayoritaria, pues Juan Diego Ordóñez (Conservador) y Carlos García Alicastro (Cambio Radical), tendrían que votar como sus compañeros afines a este, es decir, como Carlos Chacón (también Conservador) y Albert Casadiegos (de Cambio Radical). Y si bien, esto desajustaría un poco la coalición, esta seguiría siendo mayoría, pues aún quedaría integrada por Edwin Duarte, Edward Varón, Carlos Dueñas, Álvaro Raad, Víctor Caicedo, Guillermo León Báez, Jesús Sepúlveda, Alexander Salazar, Carime Rodríguez y Jorge Acevedo. Del otro lado, junto al trirreinato, quedarían, además de Chacón y Casadiegos, Jair Díaz (que de Verde no tiene sino las guayaberas que se pone) y Edison Contreras.
Mejor dicho, la sesión de mañana en el Concejo está como para alquilar balcón y ojalá sus integrantes decidan transmitirla por sus redes sociales para no perdernos ni un solo detalle de la gazapera que de seguro se va a armar y a las que cada vez nos tienen más acostumbrados por la guerra de egos y poder que se apoderó del cabildo.
Puntilla: Para el 26 de junio quedaron convocadas por el gobernador Silvano Serrano las elecciones para decidir la suerte del alcalde Jairo Yáñez. Ese día, si nada extraordinario ocurre, los cucuteños decidirán si se revoca o no el mandato del alcalde. Sin embargo, tras estas elecciones ya no habría tiempo para volver a las urnas y elegir al sucesor de Yáñez. ¿Y saben qué significa eso?
