Esta semana trajo consigo varios cambios viales, o como lo denominó la Alcaldía de Cúcuta y la Secretaría de Tránsito, Planes Pilotos, para evaluar si dichas pruebas pueden ser implementadas con perpetuidad en la movilidad de la ciudad, o solo se quedarán en eso, un Plan Piloto.
Ante estos cambios viales que se prueban en el plan piloto, varios han sido los comentarios por medio de redes sociales, olvidando que los mismos se hacen para evaluar y señalando a la administración municipal como responsable de algo que nos compete a todos, como la movilidad.
Las dos pruebas que más mensajes a favor y en contra arrojaron fueron las de la calle 20 con avenida Cero, y el cruce de la diagonal Santander con la avenida Gran Colombia.
En el primero de ellos, se prueba prohibir el cruce a la izquierda de los vehículos que descienden por el puente elevado de la Cero, y que buscan el centro de la ciudad por la calle 20. Dicho cruce generaba un trancón tremendo debido a la ausencia e imposibilidad de instalar un semáforo por ser la desembocadura del citado puente.
Solo quienes viven y transitan por este lugar en horas pico han valorado la implementación de la medida y aprueban que sea perpetua, pues se ha llegado a un punto en el que transitar por esta zona de la avenida Cero eclipsa varias calles abajo de la avenida y llegando, incluso, hasta el mismísimo Club Tenis.
El plan piloto sobre la avenida Cero ha sido rechazado por varios ciudadanos, e incluso muchos de ellos rompieron las barreras de seguridad que simulaban el separador vial, solo por no seguir la medida lógica en este caso, que es descender hasta la calles 18 y girar hacia la izquierda, ya contando con un semáforo que le da el respectivo orden a los vehículos.
En la Diagonal Santander pasa algo parecido, muchas personas han reportado la congestión vial que se ha desatado por la vía que cruza la ciudad de oriente a occidente y viceversa, pero omiten que se prueba poder girar hacia la izquierda desde la misma diagonal Santander hacia la avenida Gran Colombia, mermando el trancón en el Ventura Plaza.
Y es que cuando de criticar se trata ahí si aparecen todos, y pocos son los comentarios de cómo ha fluido la movilidad sobre la calle frente al centro comercial, pues en gran medida la congestión la realizan los ciudadanos que buscan recoger a un amigo o el transporte público.
El llamado es para respetar este tipo de iniciativas, adaptarnos a ellas, y ya después serán las autoridades las encargadas de establecer si funcionan o no. Dejemos de lado las apreciaciones como si fuésemos expertos de la movilidad, las normas viales son para seguirlas y solo entre todos podemos mejorar o empeorar la congestión vial en la ciudad.
