¿Quiénes han puesto la cara? El gobernador, los alcaldes y la Fuerza Pública, que con sus equipos han sostenido extensas jornadas para generar múltiples acuerdos y pactos de trabajo con sectores que permitan recuperar la tranquilidad y la paz de los ciudadanos. Pero, hablando de paz, ¿sabía usted que existe un Alto Comisionado para la Paz de Colombia y que recientemente ha visitado a Cúcuta?, Quizás no, pero sí, ha venido un par de veces en los últimos días, pero no para revisar los hechos violentos de la región, o establecer mesas de trabajo para buscar soluciones en la búsqueda de la paz regional, es porque fue nombrado “alcalde ad hoc”, o mejor dicho, el encargado de vigilar que la recolección de firmas para la revocatoria de Jairo Yáñez cumpla con todos los protocolos de bioseguridad.
Que bueno sería que el ‘diligente’ y hasta ahora desconocido funcionario de origen paisa Juan Camilo Restrepo, aprovechara sus visitas a la ciudad para revisar los temas de paz y sacar adelante apuestas para la región en medio de tantas dificultades.
Por fortuna, Cúcuta y el departamento tiene promotores del diálogo y han obtenido avances importantes, pero el impulso de un Alto Comisionado para la Paz puede ser sin duda un gran aporte a las mesas de trabajo que adelantan todas las instituciones regionales; y que con el mismo ímpetu que ha iniciado sus labores como “ad hoc”, ayude a todos los nortesantandereanos en su rol de Comisionado para la Paz. La región lo necesita, los barrios cucuteños necesitan el apoyo del Estado para recuperar la paz y tranquilidad con políticas claras que complementen el trabajo que se viene realizando; así que esperamos que no solo nos visite para el proceso de las firmas, tema sobre el cual está muy diligente, sino también por el bienestar de los ciudadanos de bien.
