El poder del uso adecuado del lenguaje en la transformación de la sociedad

Como seres humanos tenemos la necesidad de socializar, de compartir, de expresar nuestros sentimientos a otros, nos gusta que nos escuchen, nos gusta participar, abrazar y que nos abracen. Sin embargo, el entorno en el que se desarrolla cada una de estas actividades es de suma importancia para el bienestar de nosotros como seres humanos, de nuestra tranquilidad, de nuestra calidad de vida y de nuestro comportamiento ante los demás miembros de nuestra comunidad.

No es lo mismo comportamentalmente, socializar en un ambiente ruidoso, con rock pesado y estridente, a compartir durante un concierto de música clásica en una sala de música con buenos amigos.

Desde que nacemos, y pasamos de la tranquilidad del vientre materno a los diferentes espacios que afortunadamente o desafortunadamente nos toquen, nos iremos transformando, y así como el árbol nace torcido o derecho, cuando se le han dado los cuidados necesarios, el niño, de acuerdo a esa carga que reciba en su hogar o en el entorno en el que se desarrolle, pasará de ser un modelo para la sociedad o por el contrario tomará caminos que no serán bien aceptados por su comunidad.

La importancia de una educación de calidad y la buena o mala información que se les dé a los niños de hoy, dará la tranquilidad a sus padres y aliviará la carga que significa la crianza de sus hijos, para que más adelante sean los lideres del país, de la región o de su ciudad.

A qué viene todo esto, ¿entonces?

Los cucuteños somos señalados en algunos escenarios como personas bruscas o de un lenguaje duro y grosero. No generalizo, pero es el derrotero con el que nos miden, hasta demostrar que no es así, “cría fama y échate a dormir”, dice el dicho.

El “quiubo toche”, “no sea marica”, “coma m…”, etc., son expresiones que algunos dirán que hacen parte de la herencia cultural de un pueblo, puede ser que algunas expresiones nos identifiquen y sea cierto, pero seguramente muchas, muchísimas otras no.

Si buscamos la raíz de todo este asunto, somos lo que nuestro entorno cultural y el hogar en que nos formamos hizo de nosotros, de allí el cuidado de administrar la información que oímos y que a veces no analizamos de manera crítica.

Pero ojo, aquí no me estoy refiriendo a la condición económica de nuestro entorno. Ya que conozco hogares muy humildes con una condición cultural muy elevada que muchos de estrato alto ni siquiera les dan a los tobillos.

Aquí, los medios de comunicación tienen una responsabilidad enorme en la transformación de una sociedad. Son, los medios de comunicación, instrumentos que pueden mejorar la productividad y el comportamiento de la comunidad. Recordemos que muchos compran los periódicos por su página social, por la judicial, la política y hasta por el morbo de su línea editorial o el crucigrama. Está comprobado que esta selección y gustos, está acorde con nuestra formación y por el bombardeo de información que hemos recibido durante el aprendizaje diario de nuestro quehacer.

Siendo así, es válido mencionar el papel que algunos medios de comunicación de Cúcuta están asumiendo para la correcta formación de nuestra sociedad.  El lenguaje soez, vulgar, malintencionado y en extremo mediocre que usan sus directivas, para referirse a quien les es inconveniente, es un arma mortal en la formación de la juventud de una región. Escuchar a estos ‘dizque periodistas’, dudando que lo sean, ya que el periodista de verdad es un profesional de altura y una formación única de gran bagaje intelectual, es lo más lamentable que le puede pasar a un grupo social.

Me entusiasmó escribir esta columna por la indignación que sentí al escuchar un programa radial transmitido por redes sociales, en el que se referían al actual burgomaestre de la ciudad, de manera vergonzosa, con cizaña, burlándose de su vestimenta, de su edad, de su persona, con un lenguaje que ni siquiera, estoy seguro, un habitante de la calle usaría.

Investigando un poco, me dicen que la emisora es financiada por un politiquero tradicional de la ciudad, con futuras aspiraciones, si es así, qué nos espera si esta es su manera de actuar y de establecer un lenguaje de comunicación con sus electores. Se ve que la verdadera intención de estas personas es causar incomodidades y distorsionar la información de las personas que los escuchan.

Nos corresponde, a quienes creemos que aún se puede cambiar la idiosincrasia de los cucuteños, mejorando su perspectiva de la ciudad con el fin de lograr una ciudad diferente y productiva, desenmascarar a estos malévolos personajes que hoy se mueven por la ciudad, como nuevos grandes multimillonarios, pero que han embrutecido a gran parte de la comunidad para su beneficio, usando y comprando los medios de comunicación a su antojo, para influir en su pensamiento y luego comprar el voto, aprovechando su necesidad.

Advierto que no soy contratista ni tengo nada que ver con la actual administración del alcalde Yáñez, pero a la gente hay que respetarla. Estar en desacuerdo con una gestión, no le da derecho a nadie de despotricar de una persona, como lo están haciendo algunos en la ciudad.

Si respetamos, tenemos derecho a exigir respeto, de lo contrario, no.
