Hablar de lo mucho que la politiquería ha permeado las instituciones en nuestra región puede sonar a retórica, pero no hacerlo puede contribuir a olvidarlo, como ciudadanos nos hemos acostumbrado a que las entidades sean absorbidas por los tentáculos de quienes logran ocupar cargos de elección popular.
Y es que en el discurso de los políticos poco se habla de la generación de empleo con ideas concretas, pero sus electores y maquinaría política trabajan a todo ritmo bajo la promesa de ocupar cargos que, aunque deberían responder a una meritocracia y carrera administrativa se vuelven puestos para devolver favores electorales.
Este panorama contrasta con la indiferencia de los jóvenes, una generación totalmente desinteresada por temas de política, quienes se encuentran hiperconectados a redes sociales, pero totalmente desconectados a la realidad de la comunidad en la que viven; en donde el egoísmo y el cortoplacismo son protagonistas. Donde predomina la premisa “Lo importante soy yo, el resto no existe”.
Esta realidad sumada al desprestigio de la clase política tanto en la esfera nacional como regional, hacen posible como lo dice Oscar Collazos en una de sus columnas que “gobernantes se elijan tan solo con el 18% de la votación, desafortunadamente por las mismas maquinarias que ostentan el poder desde hace tiempo”.
Otra perspectiva se ve reflejada cuando líderes sociales se unen a movimientos políticos con intereses particulares, no los une una filosofía u objetivos comunes para trabajar por las comunidades sino favores específicos, esto se puede evidenciar incluso en líderes comunales, presidentes de conjuntas comunales o ediles. Tanto así que en Norte de Santander hay municipios que parecen no tener salida, se los tomaron familias políticas desde hace décadas y se han convertido en posesiones particulares.
Para Norte de Santander y Cúcuta, esta realidad no es lejana, aunque se viene haciendo eco de entidades que buscan rescatar la democracia, tales como ONG, grupos independientes, jóvenes líderes, universidades y movimientos políticos nuevos, su impacto aún no logra la incidencia necesaria, pero se empieza a sembrar una semilla que de germinar podría generar un verdadero cambio.
Es importante generar la necesidad de hallar en el político, a una persona con ideales y objetivos en pro de la comunidad; y que sus ideas sean el motor para generar cambios al interior de los estamentos locales, a través de su ejemplo y modelo de trabajo, promoviendo la transparencia y la participación desde las opiniones de diferentes orillas, para crear así, un consenso que, aunque difícil de lograr, pueda establecer un mejor entendimiento entre todos.

Somos conscientes que la politica es una estructura necesaria para el buen funcionamiento de una comunidad , sin embargo, vemos como la codicia, la avaricia y la sed de.poder, se sobreponen al interés general y se daña el núcleo de la institucionalidad .
LA verdad no sería necesaria una encuesta , es lamentable que los apellidos, la tradición politiquera haya permeado la mayoría de las instituciones. Lo peor es que los jóvenes piden meritocracia para laborar en los cargos públicos y los dirigentes se niegan amarrando los cargos en provisonalidades eternas… mientras la sociedad no cambie y seamos desde la individualidad honestos y éticos no va a pasar nada.
