LE INVITO A ABORTAR

Probablemente usted leyó el título de esta columna, y me sacó la madre, y, aun así, vino a leer qué digo para sacármela por segunda vez, pero con más rabia.

Lo que escribo, es fruto de una reflexión más o menos profunda, con la virtud de querer convencerla/o todavía más de su posición frente al aborto, y para ahorrarle tanta lectura desde ya le digo: si usted quiere abortar, tiene toda la razón, debería hacerlo; y si no quiere, por favor, no lo haga.

El 21 de febrero de 2022, la Corte Constitucional con la sentencia C-055-22, despenalizó el aborto en Colombia, permitiendo que cualquier mujer que desee abortar lo pueda hacer hasta antes de la semana 24 de gestación, y después de ese límite solo podrá abortar por las 3 causales ampliamente conocidas por la sentencia C-355-06, con el objetivo de proteger los derechos sexuales y reproductivos de las niñas, mujeres y personas gestantes, pues ni el Congreso ni el Gobierno Nacional les han prestado atención por más de una década, haciendo que la vida en gestación que buscan proteger, no esté siendo verdaderamente protegida.

Con esta sentencia, no sobra decir que, los derechos traen consigo responsabilidades y la despenalización del aborto representa nuevos retos: mejoramiento de la atención en salud para las mujeres, fortalecimiento de la educación sexual y mayor acceso a métodos anticonceptivos para hombres y mujeres. Porque la cosa no es así por así.

Y más allá del: ¿Por qué 24 semanas? ¿Por qué la Corte se extralimitó? ¿Hubo cosa juzgada?, esta columna ve una situación de indignación frente a la decisión de la Corte, que podría ser tomada como aparentemente trivial, pero no lo es cuando eso se interpone en la realización de derechos individuales, que en nada afecta a otras personas, que en nada lo afecta a usted.

La trivialidad de la que hablo es la siguiente: nos parece absolutamente insoportable que alguien haga algo que nosotros no haríamos, por lo que, los argumentos alterados, las opiniones sin censura y los oportunistas políticos no esperaron demasiado para exponer en redes sociales su postura en la tarde del lunes.

Todos tenían lo mismo en común, buscan las maneras posibles, de decirle a la mujer que desea abortar, porque ellos no lo harían o porque ellas no lo hicieron, pero después de esos 5 minutos de rasgarse las vestiduras, poco les va a importar si tuvo al bebé o no, si tendrá para alimentarlo o no, si tuvo atención psicológica o no.

Lo que hay detrás de esa falsa empatía y preocupación, es la creencia de que debemos pedirle permiso a usted para tomar decisiones en nuestra vida privada, no solo frente al aborto, sino en cualquier tema.

Así, el aborto, no es el único tema donde a las mujeres se les reprocha, donde se les criminaliza por disponer sobre su cuerpo y su vida. Aborto, trabajo sexual, eutanasia, ligamiento de trompas y extracción de útero, son algunos temas donde toda la sociedad decide por ellas, porque están equivocadas, son muy jóvenes o hay que consultar si el marido o el papá les da permiso.

Para ser una sociedad tan individualista y poco empática, nos gusta decidir sobre la vida de otros, pero deberíamos utilizar esa motivación para ser coherentes con nuestra forma de pensar, pues, muchos se preguntan dónde quedó el derecho fundamental a la vida y yo me pregunto lo mismo, pero no desde el lunes, sino desde mucho antes, cuando se pedía pena de muerte a violadores de menores, cuando se pedía limpieza social de delincuentes.

Lo que sucede, es que somos bastante caprichosos para decidir quién muere y quién vive, y cuando está bien o mal ¿cierto?

Defender la vida, es entender que no solo es importante que el corazón nos lata, sino que tengamos las condiciones para tener una calidad de vida, y muchos niños en Cúcuta mientras usted lee esto, no la tienen. Pero nadie se rasga las vestiduras por ellos, por el contrario, los ignoran cuando los ven en la calle.

Todo lo escrito, es para invitarle a abortar esa necesidad de imponerle a los demás lo que usted haría, las mujeres no necesitan de sus consejos porque ni siquiera a usted le ha ido bien con ellos. Ellas pueden decidir por sí mismas, pero necesitan que usted las deje de señalar.

    Es un tema tan polémico 😔, podría yo decir no estoy de acuerdo con el aborto pero porque NO está en mi carné!!!!! pero si la situación un ejemplo : si fuera mi hija la abusada, o que falló su método de planificación, o que simple no se siente en capacidad para llevar un proceso de embarazo y ser madre, que no quiere su embarazo estaría yo encontrá?? Realmente hay que ver muchas variantes y dejar de creer que lo que para mí está bien para los otros también…. Soy de las que nunca pero nunca va a juzgar a una mujer y siempre quiero empoderarlas por eso cada quien decida lo que para su vida sea lo mejor.

    La reflexión llama a que nos ocupemos de nuestros propios problemas, en vez de estar dando opiniones o consejos donde no se han pedido, claramente vivimos en una sociedad donde se nos inculcó unas costumbres y culturas de nuestros antepasados y que ya va viendo hora de cambiar muchas perspectivas para ser más incluyente en los cambios que día a día se presentan por la necesidad de evolucionar.
