MÁS ALLÁ DE LAS DUALIDADES

La historia de Colombia, tal y como ha sido narrada por quienes ostentaron el poder, pareciera el recuento de un sinfín de disputas de múltiples consideraciones: culturales, políticas, religiosas, económicas, entre muchos otros aspectos; a tal punto de que el imaginario colectivo siempre ha jugado con la dualidad que dibujan dos extremos: conquistadores o nativos, criollos o mestizos, realistas o patriotas, bolivarianos o santanderistas, centralistas o federalistas, católicos o ateos, “godos” o “cachiporros”, gobiernistas o guerrilleros, “de izquierda” o “de derecha”, entre muchos otros apelativos que no han hecho otra cosa más que dividir y cercenar a la población, originar y ejecutar el derramamiento de sangre de una nación que repite, día tras día, el mito bíblico de “Caín y Abel” en un bucle infinito, el fratricidio demente del que piensa diferente.

El mayor intento jurídico por superar las brechas que fragmentan al pueblo colombiano, se halla expresado en el artículo 1° de la Constitución de 1991, al otorgarle al Estado tres magnas características: “democrático, participativo y pluralista”; desde aquel entonces y hasta hoy, ya han transcurrido más de tres décadas y el panorama continúa siendo desalentador, monocromático y unilateral… Múltiples son los ejemplos a los que se pudiese acudir para ilustrarlo: en el deporte, las barras bravas que han llevado a transformar la recreación en barbarie; y, también, en la vida cotidiana, en las vías públicas, en el transporte, en los ámbitos laborales, en las vecindades e, incluso, en la intimidad del hogar.

En los últimos meses, el tema político ha llevado a que la segregación y la falta de tolerancia se ahonde aún más y a que los discursos separatistas sean intensamente agresivos; en redes sociales los ánimos se encuentran fuertemente caldeados, de manera especial cuando se trata de defender la postura de alguno de los candidatos de turno. La situación es tal, que ha permeado la vida familiar afectando las relaciones entre hermanos, primos y hasta padres e hijos, llegándose a perder los estribos y cortando la comunicación al interior del hogar, como si esto fuese a solucionar de alguna manera los problemas sociales o económicos del país.

Cierto es, que en la urnas habrá un ganador y un perdedor, no se sabe si tal suerte estará definida el domingo 29 de mayo por la noche o si debamos esperar un poco más, hasta el 19 de junio; pero, bien sea en uno o en otro momento, Colombia contará con un nuevo Presidente para el siguiente cuatrienio. Y, luego de la decisión de la mayoría, ¿qué pasará con aquellos compañeros, vecinos, amigos o familiares que, tras la efervescencia del momento, han ejercido violencia verbal, física o psicológica contra el otro? ¿Imponerse por la fuerza solucionará las incertidumbres y dificultades del país? Sea uno u otro, quien obtenga la victoria, nuestro pueblo requiere, en este momento de precariedades y carencias, un gobernante que ame a su Patria, que ejerza su poder con pasión y entrega abnegada, que se incline por el bien común y que sus actos sean reflejo de justicia y equidad; Colombia merece llegar a tener una visión multicromática, más allá de lo blanco o lo negro.
