Se me hace casi imposible imaginar que una sociedad que invita a la movilización en defensa de la mata de coca, como una forma de lucha que defiende la economía campesina, no lo haga, con la misma fuerza en contra de las acciones violentas en municipios de nuestra región, en especial sobre los hechos de violencia que sacudieron a la población de El Tarra, en Norte de Santander, donde el ataque en contra de la fuerza pública dejó una menor de edad herida, al igual que un civil de 39 años de edad.
Desde luego es importante considerar que la especie humana debe desarrollar una actividad económica, que le permita la adquisición de bienes y servicios, independientemente que dicha labor goce del apoyo moral o jurídico de quienes puedan determinar si la misma constituye la infracción a la normatividad jurídica existente; pero la vida no requiere ninguna clase de interpretación más allá del respeto que dicte como debe ser mi comportamiento antes de los demás, en saber con certeza que mi raciocinio me diga que debo respetar ese derecho inviolable como lo mandata nuestro texto constitucional elevado a derecho fundamental.
El principio de distinción de combatientes y objetivos militares por un lado, y población civil y bienes de carácter civil, deben respetarse, es una exigencia que se les hace a todos los actores armados que hacen presencia en el territorio nacional, en especial en el departamento de Norte de Santander; los mínimos humanitarios, la mesa humanitaria del Catatumbo, el Pacto Humanitario, son expresiones de la sociedad civil que les exige, tanto a los beligerantes como a los no beligerantes, respetar lo establecido en los protocolos de Ginebra, principio rector de las reglas en la guerra.
Los jueces de la república, representados en los distintos tribunales y altas cortes, deben asumir su papel de responsabilidad a la hora de considerar mediante jurisprudencia la reubicación de las estaciones o puestos de policías dentro de los cascos urbanos que, en vez de guarnecer de protección a la población civil, los convierte en escudos humanos. Las sentencias de los togados deben ser ajustadas a la realidad de un país que vive un conflicto interno armado crónico que, a lo largo de la historia hemos pretendido conjurar mediante una bella danza llamada paz y terminamos en el peor fandango llamado conflicto.
La inviolabilidad del derecho a la vida debe ser la principal razón de ser, como individuo que expresa su amor por la humanidad y demás formas de biología que comparte junto a nosotros este bello planeta que deambula por el espacio sideral, sin ningún fin más que el de contemplar lo bello que es la especie humana, cuando coopera junto a sus semejantes por el bienestar común.
La mata de coca como economía primaria de los pobladores del Catatumbo, no vale la pena salir a defenderla, cuando callamos ante la expresión violenta de las balas ciegas, que no distinguen entre combatientes y no combatientes, llenando de zozobra y dolor el futuro de cualquier nación como es la niñez y de continuar en un viaje plagado de incertidumbre sobre el rocoso planeta en una parte de la geografía llamada Colombia, región del Catatumbo.
