Los promotores del acuerdo de paz con las Farc, nos aseguraban que iniciaba el tiempo de la paz duradera, que llegaba una nueva era de paz en toda Colombia, que ahora sí tendríamos el fin de la violencia. Y no ha habido tal. A pesar del desescalamiento de las acciones terroristas y de muchos ejemplos socio-económicos exitosos en la reincorporación de excombatientes que entregaron sus armas, el país vive aún momentos de zozobra social por el aumento de las violencias verbales, sumada a la amenaza que aún vive nuestra nación en varios territorios, por la acción de diversos actores terroristas y narcotraficantes.
¿Y dónde están quienes tienen que asumir el liderazgo nacional en los tiempos complejos? Pues, hay que decir que varios de los líderes representativos de la política no han estado a la altura histórica que demandan estas circunstancias. Su actuar discursivo (hasta en lo “efímero” que puede ser una publicación digital) al encender más la hoguera de odios y la descalificación del contrario, están presentes diariamente. Pareciese que el objetivo primordial es el aplastamiento total del contradictor. Y estos personajes no han tenido la capacidad de llamar a la concordia y buscar bajarles el tono agraviante a sus seguidores.
Necesitamos un pare. No más violencia verbal, no más ataque ofensivo al contradictor. No más el todo vale para llegar como sea al poder. Lograr un compromiso nacional para que se promueva en todos los niveles (sociales, políticos, empresariales y educativos), el respeto, la información veraz, la valoración del argumento y el sano debate, pareciese utópico, pero es un primer paso para alcanzar la madurez ciudadana y política, que ya debiésemos haber tenido como nación.
Sin duda alguna, el país reclama a gritos cambio, pero no cualquier cambio, no el que lleve a profundizar más los problemas sociales, a través de la promoción del odio y la división de clases. Por eso, en los actuales momentos de alta tensión, se requieren líderes generadores de confianza, que tengan credibilidad y que ayuden a desintoxicar a Colombia, que construyan en todo el país ambientes para el desarrollo de la integridad en todos los ámbitos, para que el reconciliarnos, el perdonar, el valorar, el respetar y el empatizar con el prójimo, sean parte de nuestro actuar diario.
